Logo and drawings

The EveShift mark (an E made of three schedule bars, the middle one slid out of its row), the wordmark and the moving schedule bars on the home page were drawn for this site in SVG and CSS.

Pictures of the app

The phone pictures are screenshots of the EveShift app running with a made-up team, Juniper Café, and a made-up personal account. There are no stock photos on this site.

Fonts

  • Satoshi by Indian Type Foundry, ITF Free Font License, self-hosted. The wordmark is drawn from it.
  • DM Mono by Colophon Foundry, SIL Open Font License 1.1, self-hosted. Used for times.

Code and standards

  • The demo runs EveShift's own rules check, written for the app.
  • Calendar files follow the iCalendar format, RFC 5545 (IETF).
  • Federal hour limits for workers aged 14–15 and the 40-hour overtime threshold come from the U.S. Department of Labor (Fact Sheet #43, FLSA).
  • Pay estimates follow IRS Publication 15-T (2026) and Topic 751 for Social Security and Medicare. State rates come from each state's revenue department or the Tax Foundation's 2026 table, as the app shows next to each estimate.
  • Location lookups use the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder. Each labor rule in the app links the official page it came from.

Sample data

The businesses, people and shifts in the demo, the screenshots and these pages are made up. Any resemblance to a real business or person is accidental.
